Seven Juniors to Watch Closely [Not Ranked]:

RB Kevin Smith ~ Central Florida -- Only a bum shoulder kept him from another 1,000 yard season in '06. Runs with great speed, power and balance. Has the look of an elite C-USA tailback.

WR Jarrett Dillard ~ Rice -- Not real big and might not be real fast, but his 91 receptions and 21 TD's in 2006 show this heady Owl is a great college wide receiver!

TE Shawn Nelson ~ Southern Miss. -- 6' 5", 245 pound athlete is a great receiving tight end, averaging almost 15 yards per catch during his career.

DE Albert McClellan ~ Marshall -- His 19 TFL's and 11 sacks paced C-USA last season. But at 6' 2" and only 225 pounds, he might be best suited as a 3-4 edge rusher in the pros.

DE Ell Ash ~ Houston -- At 6' 5" and almost 300 pounds, this agile former Tennessee Vol just looks like an N.F.L. prospect. Now he needs to post bigger numbers on the field. Can play offensive tackle in a pinch.

LB Cody Lubojasky ~ Houston -- Super productive linebacker with excellent size (6' 2", 235) and athletic ability. Can play inside or outside. Is the grandson of former N.F.L. All-Pro Bobby Maples.

CB Joe Burnett ~ Central Florida -- Very athletic corner, with reported 4.45 speed, was great in '05, but struggled a bit last season due to injuries. Excellent potential as a kick returner.
