Top Senior Small School Offensive Tackle Prospects (Loosely Ranked)

1) Joe Haeg - North Dakota State

2) Travis Hening - East Central University

3) Josh James - Carroll College

4) Gunnar Bromelow - Samford

5) Clay DeBord - Eastern Washington

6) Cole Toner - Harvard

7) Torian White - Hampton (U.C.L.A Transfer)

8) Aleksandar Milanovic - Sacramento State

9) John Weidenaar - Montana State

10) Ben Curtis - Delaware

DD.comment: In contrast to the fairly mediocre group of top small school senior tight end prospects we posted Monday, there seems to be several small school offensive tackles with serious N.F.L. potential....Athletic Joe Haeg from North Dakota State clearly leads the way. At this point, Haeg appears to be a prospect that could project as a Top 100 draft pick with a strong season season, coupled with strong all-star game showings and workouts.

Top Senior Small School Tight End Prospects (Loosely Ranked)

1) Beau Sandland - Montana State (Miami-Florida Transfer)

2) Tim Brown - West Chester

3) Brendan Carozonni - John Carroll (Pittsburgh Transfer)

4) Ben Braunecker - Harvard

5) Jamie Potts - Grand Valley State (WR/Texas Rangers Prospect)

6) DeAnte Cheatham - James Madision

7) Cole Spurgeon - Colorado Mines (WR/TE)

8) Tom Pauciello - Coastal Carolina

9) Gabe Hughes - Florida Tech

10) R.J. Rickert - Northern Arizona

DD.comment: According to our sources, Beau Sandland from Montana State, a Miami-Florida Transfer, is the only prospect listed above that is considered a possible N.F.L. draft pick at this (very early) point. Most of the other players we listed above will need to have fantastic senior seasons, coupled with strong pre-draft workouts, just to get squarely on the radar of N.F.L. scouts as potential latter round picks or even priority free agents.

7) Justin Otto - Minnesota State-Mankato (Cornerback)

8) Anthony Gaffney - Princeton

DD.comment: According to our sources, there is no real likely draft pick -- i.e. Jaquiski Tartt last summer. The top two on our list (Williams and Shaw) are currently considered borderline draftable prospects...However it's still very early in the draft process and things will change quite a bit during the 2015 college football season.

Top Senior Quarterback Prospects (Loosely Ranked)

1) Connor Cook - Michigan State

2) Cody Kessler - Southern California

3) Dak Prescott - Mississippi State

4) Nate Sudfeld - Indiana

5) Trevone Boykin - Texas Christian

6) Kevin Hogan - Stanford

7) Blake Frohnapfel - Massachusetts

8) Carson Wentz - North Dakota State

9) Jacoby Brissett - North Carolina State (Florida Transfer)

10) Brandon Doughty - Western Kentucky

Other Notables: Vernon Adams, Oregon (Eastern Washington Transfer); Jake Rudock, Michigan (Iowa Transfer);

Jason Vander Laan, Ferris State Potential N.F.L. Tight End ; Chuckie Keeton, Utah State; Travis Wilson, Utah;

Taysom Hill, Brigham Young; Braxton Miller, Ohio State (Potential N.F.L. Tailback)

DD.comment: According to our sources, Connor Cook of Michigan State is the only senior quarterback that currently carries a solid first round projection from N.F.L. scouts. Several smaller quarterbacks (are actually 6'1" or shorter) such as Cody Kessler, Dak Prescott and Trevone Boykin are currently ranked as possible Day Two selections (2nd/3rd rounds), but their height might be a problem going forward, meaning some taller quarterbacks (i.e. Sudfeld, Frohnapfel, Wentz and Brissett) could easily surpass them with stellar senior years and strong showings at all-star games and post-season workouts.
