What are the Carolina Panthers' options if Stanford superstar quarterback Andrew Luck stays in school?

DD.Comment: Andrew Luck is the son of ex-N.F.L. quarterback Oliver Luck, who was a finalist to be a Rhodes Scholar back in college. He went on to become President and C.E.O. of N.F.L. Europe at only 35 years old and was the President/defacto G.M. of a very successful M.L.S. franchise (Houston Dynamo). He is currently the A.D. at West Virginia. We are betting Oliver is a very wealthy man, who values education. With that said, we don't think Andrew (a redshirt sophomore) leaving school after this season is a slam dunk, as some of these mainstream media draft scribes seem to believe...Don't forget, most of these "draft insiders" assumed Peyton and Eli Manning (sons of Archie) would leave school early for the N.F.L. Peyton spent four years at Tennessee and Eli spent five years at Ole Miss.

***

N.F.L. draft expert Mike Mayock hails Villanova Wildcats' two-sport star Matt Szczur.

DD.Comment: Mayock's got a serious rooting interest, as his son, Mike Mayock Jr., is a defensive back on the Wildcats roster. He should know a lot more about Szczur than most draft writers/followers.
